Boy Scouting, one of the traditional membership divisions of the BSA, is available to boys who have earned the Arrow of Light Award and are at least 10 years old or have completed the fifth grade and are at least 10, or who are 11, but not yet 18 years old. The program achieves the BSA's objectives of developing character, citizenship, and personal fitness.
Troop 16 is all about having fun and experiencing all there is to enjoy about living in Southeastern Pennsylvania and the Middle Atlantic States. The Troop has an active outdoors program and participates frequently in Council activities. Troop 16 strives to conduct at least one outing per month and ensures that all Scouts achieve at least the minimum camping requirements of their rank. Troop 16 practices the “liberal arts” of Scouting, exposing the Scouts to a well rounded program of trips and activities that results in the creation of cultured young men, respectful of their country, reverent to their God and courteous towards their fellow man.
